The town of Glendive is located in South Eastern Montana and is considered by many as an agricultural hub of Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. The town itself is tucked between the Yellowstone River and the Badlands, named for the rugged terrain and jagged rock formations.

Glendive offers visitors unique outdoor activities. Some of these include: discovering fossils, hunting for semi-precious moss agates, or even catch a pre-historic paddlefish. Glendive is known to be the Paddlefish Capitol of the World™.
The Bell Street Bridge over the Yellowstone River is just steps away from the back door of the Charley Montana Bed & Breakfast.
The Black Bridge Recreation Area offers riverside hiking, fishing and recreational opportunities. Like canoeing through the spectacular badlands scenery.
Makoshika State Park is Montana's largest state park. Magnificent vistas and challenging terrain make it a great place for hiking. Just two miles from the Bed & Breakfast, it also offers
picnic areas, camping, Frisbee golf, amphitheater and visitors center.
Charley Montana proudly supports the Miss Montana Scholarship Program. This entertaining pageant is held in Glendive each year. You may even have the chance to meet Miss Montana at the Bed & Breakfast.
The Glendive Dinosaur & Fossil Museum recently opened in May 2009. The museum offers many interesting exibits in it's 20,000 square foot building.
